Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using Orcha ("the Software"), or by accessing this website, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Software. You represent that you are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) and legally able to enter this agreement.

Orcha is currently offered as pre-release / beta software. It is provided for evaluation and may be incomplete, unstable, or contain errors. It may change, break, or be withdrawn at any time without notice. Beta builds may not be code-signed or notarized by Apple.

Do not rely on beta software for anything important. It may lose, corrupt, or fail to save data. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups. Do not use it on production-critical systems or with data you cannot afford to lose. All disclaimers and liability limits below apply with full force to beta use.

Subject to these terms, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Software. During the beta, access may be granted without payment. For purchased copies, the license is a one-time purchase and is perpetual for the version you receive — there is no subscription, no account requirement in the app, and no license activation. You may modify your own copy for your own use.

Orcha is a control surface for command-line coding agents. It launches and manages tools such as the Claude Code, Codex, and Aider CLIs, and it can run commands, background agents, and automations on your computer at your direction. Those tools and agents read, write, execute, and delete files, run shell commands, make network requests, and perform git operations on your machine.

You are solely responsible for:

• your own code, files, and data, and for keeping backups;
• reviewing and approving the actions you run through Orcha;
• all consequences of any command, agent, or automation you initiate — including data loss, corruption, deletions, unintended changes, and git history changes;
• any usage, fees, or charges billed by third parties (for example, Anthropic, OpenAI, or your model provider) for activity you run through Orcha.

Orcha does not control, review, or guarantee the behavior or output of these agents and is not responsible for what they do. You use them at your own risk.

You may modify your copy for your own use. You may not:

• redistribute, sublicense, resell, publish, or otherwise share copies of the Software (modified or not);
• represent a modified copy as an official release of Orcha;
• use the Software for any unlawful purpose.

Updates are provided on a best-effort basis. When we ship them they are delivered via the built-in update mechanism at no additional cost — but your license is for the Software as it exists when you receive it. Future updates and features are not guaranteed and are not part of what you are buying.

The beta is provided free of charge. For paid releases, all sales are final: there is no trial period and no refunds. Demonstrations on this website show the actual Software; please review them before purchasing. (Payment providers may apply their own statutory chargeback or consumer-protection rights regardless of this policy.)

Orcha and all related trademarks, logos, and content are the property of Orcha Software. Your license grants usage rights only; no ownership of intellectual property is transferred.

Orcha is an independent, third-party tool. It is notaffiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to Anthropic, OpenAI, or the makers of any agent it launches. Claude Code is a product of Anthropic; Codex is a product of OpenAI; Aider is independent open-source software. Your use of each of these tools and services is governed by that provider's own terms and privacy policy, and any subscription, API, or usage costs they charge are solely your responsibility.

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Software will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, that it will not lose or corrupt data, or that any result, action, or output produced through it will be accurate, safe, or fit for your purpose.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, in no event shall Orcha Software or its developer be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business, whether based in contract, tort, or any other theory, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. This expressly includes damage to or loss of your code, files, repositories, or data, and any charges incurred with third-party providers. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you actually paid for the Software (which, during the beta, is zero).

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Orcha Software and its developer from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Software, your data, the commands, agents, or automations you run through it, or your violation of these terms or of any third party's rights.

We may terminate your license if you violate these terms. Upon termination you must stop using the Software and delete all copies. Sections on intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law survive termination.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Orcha Software operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located there for any dispute arising from these terms or the Software.

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Software or this website after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
