Getting Started
Install Orcha and launch your first project.
System Requirements
- macOS 14 (Sonoma) or later
- Apple Silicon or Intel Mac
- Claude Code CLI installed and configured
- A Claude subscription (Pro or Max) for Claude Code
Installation
Download Orcha from the download page (sign in with the email you used to get access), then drag Orcha.app to your Applications folder.
If macOS blocks the first launch with “Apple could not verify…”, open System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down, and click Open Anyway. See Troubleshooting if you get stuck.
First Launch
When you first open Orcha, it scans ~/.claude/for existing Claude Code projects and sessions. Anything it finds appears automatically — see Discovery for how scanning works.
You land on the Orcha chat, and it offers to set your default: chat-first or terminal-first. Try asking “what's running?” — or open a project from the sidebar and start a session, as a chat tab or a terminal. There is no license key and nothing to activate.
If you don't see any projects, make sure Claude Code is installed (claude --version) and you've run at least one session.
